Thanks for checking out my page! Scroll down to learn more about me!

Although I've lived in Wisconsin for quite some time, I was originally born and raised in Lake Zurich, Illinois.

With a little over 20,000 residents, this northwest Chicagoland suburb sits roughly 30-60 minutes from the Windy City (depending on traffic).

After graduating from high school, I attended UW-Stevens Point. There, I got my undergrad in Geography that emphasized in GIS/Human Geography, while obtaining a minor in Sociology. While there, I swam competitively for 4 years and served as the Men's team captain Sophomore through Senior Year

After graduating from UW-Stevens Point, I interned at the City of Marshfield for 6 months. There I gained hands-on experience in GIS projects within the community development and engineering departments.

In the summer of 2017, I landed my first full-time GIS job in the Fox Valley (Appleton), and also coached their local swim club.

Although valuabe experiences gained in my first job, I decided to move to Madison to accept a new opportunity.

However, I wanted to thrive more in the GIS industry by gaining more hands-on experiences in programming and visualizations. Thus, I continued my education at UW-Madison and recieved a Master's in GIS & Cartography.

As you can already tell, maps have always been a passion of mine, and will continue to be a part of my profession wherever I go. Now that I have graduated, I hope to find a career that involves me to apply and learn more skills, while also being a part of a team that is always engaging in researching new ways to solve geographic phenomena. What I value about being in this field is how it is always evolving and changing, and I want to be with a group who always wants to be one step ahead.

While I make maps during the day, I like to spend my free time coaching one of Madison's local swim clubs, or being outside with friends and family.
